“WGBH’s Emily Rooney drove the late Andy Rooney’s 1966 Sunbeam Tiger to the Ritz-Carlton, Boston Common on Tuesday. Her ride in her dad’s sporty convertible was designed to get people excited about the upcoming Boston Cup Classic Car Show, which is this Sunday on Boston Common. Andy Rooney actually taught Emily to drive in this car. She says that he gave her the keys and told her to “try not to grind the gears.” . ... read more
