As we approach our 5th year, we say thanks to everyone involved
The Boston Cup would never happen without support from our sponsors, car owners, Mayor Walsh, Chris Cook, Commissioner of Boston Parks AND our loyal volunteers, friends and patrons.
This year during the week leading up to the show date of 9/25, we are planning to add a few more wrinkles...stay tuned to hear about a possible classic car auction this year, new media partners and possible additional charities.
We also hope to announce additional events leading up to the show.
We will keep you posted with frequent eblasts.
Thanks again from all of us at The Boston Cup!
"I love beautiful, classic cars. Some would call me a car guy. When the Trustees of the Reservation discontinued the annual September Castle Hill Concours d'Elegance in 2003 after 8 years, I felt a loss. When I attended the "Speed, Style and Beauty: Cars from the Ralph Lauren Collection" at the Museum of Fine Arts in 2005, I was inspired. So were other car guys, who agreed to help me put together a combination of these two events. It took 7 years, but September 23, 2012 was the inaugural Classic Car Show on the Boston Common around the Parkman Bandstand where we captured the best of these two events with "People and Vehicles of Special Interest."
